Billy Harris teamed up with Peter Boswell for the ITF event in Portugal. The Brit/Irish pair were unseeded. In the first round they were up against the fourth seeds Arjun Kadhe & Ricardo Ojeda Lara. Harris & Bothwell broke in the first set to take the lead against the seeds. The Indian/Spanish pair were not done though and in the second set forced a tiebreak. In the breaker the fourth seeds dominated, losing only one point and levelled up. In the match tiebreak the Brit/Irish pair secured the mini break and edged ahead to move into the quarter-final 6-4, 6-7(1), 11-9.
The quarter-final pitched Harris & Boswell against Pedro Araujo & Tiago Torres. The Portuguese had knocked out the top seeds in the first round and were looking to extend the run. Araujo & Torres surprised the Brit/Irish pair and broke in the first set. However Harris & Boswell re-grouped and levelled up the match forcing another match tiebreak. This one proved easier for the Brit/Irish pair as they eased into the semi-final 2-6, 6-4, 10-3.
In the semi-final the pair were against another all Portuguese pairing of Francisco Cabral & Luis Farla. This match was much easier for Harris & Boswell, as they dominated both sets. The Brit/Irish pair broke more or less at will as the stormed into the final 6-2, 6-1.
The final pitted the Brit/Irish pair against the third seeds Albert Roglan & Benjamin Winter Lopez. The Spaniards were unable to break the serve of the unseeded pairing. Harris & Boswell went on to lift the trophy in straights sets with ease. The pair claimed the title 6-3, 6-2.
