Alicia Barnett & Olivia Nicholls entered the ITF event and were the top seeds. In the first round the Brits were against Vasanti Shinde & Noelia Zeballos Melgar. The Brits dominated the first set, breaking at will. Barnett & Nicholls didn’t drop a game in the first set. The second set was a little closer as Shinde & Zeballos Melgar got some games on the table. The top seeds broke serve though and moved into the next round 6-0, 6-3.

In the quarter-final the Brits were due to be against Georgina Garcia-Perez & Aleksandra Krunic. However, the Spaniard/Serbian pair were unable to take to the court and therefore handed the win to the top seeds without having hit a ball in anger 0-0 (RET).

The semi-final saw the Brits against Bulgarian pair Lia Karatancheva & Sesil Karatancheva. The Brits dominated the match from the outset. Barnett & Nicholls barely put a foot wrong, and lost only three games as they eased their way through to the final 6-1, 6-2.

In the final the Brits were against Estelle Cascino & Diana Marcinkevica. The top seeds were on a roll and broke serve early to take the first set. The second was closer, however, Barnett & Nicholls secured the break of serve needed to get the victory and lift the trophy 6-3, 6-4.
