Naiktha Bains & Maia Lumsden were unseeded in Rouen. The Brits were against Amina Anshba & Valeriya Strakhova in the first round. The Russian/Ukrainian pair got off to the better start, breaking the serve of the Brits and took the lead. However, in the second set Bains & Lumsden fought back. The Brits broke the serve of Anshba & Strakhova to level up the match. In the match tiebreak the Brits eased through and took the match to move into the next round 3-6, 6-4, 10-4.

The quarter-final saw the Brits against the fourth seeds Lidziya Marozava & Kimberley Zimmermann. The first set was very close, as the seeds stayed with Bains & Lumsden. However, just as it looked to be heading to a tiebreak, the Brits secured the vital break of serve and moved ahead. The second set saw the Brits dominate the seeds. Bains & Lumsden only lost one game in the second set to move into the next round 7-5, 6-1.

In the semi-final the Brits were against Nao Hibino & Kalashinkova. The Japanese/Georgian pair defeated the top seeds in the first round and then had a walkover to this stage. Hibino & Kalashinkova broke the Brits serve in the first set and took the lead. The second set though, saw Bains & Lumsden re-group. The Brits dominated and levelled up the match. In the match tiebreak it was Bains & Lumsden edged through to book a spot in the final 4-6, 6-2, 10-6.

The final saw the Brits against the second seeds Timea Babos & Irina Khromacheva. The first set saw the seeds break early and take the lead as Bains & Lumsden could not break back.
