Alicia Barnett & Olivia Nicholls entered the W100 ITF event and were the top seeds. In the first round the Brits were against Celia Cervino Ruiz & Irene Burillo Escorihuela. In the first set the Brits secured the break of serve needed and took the lead. The second set was much closer as the Spaniards fought hard to try and level up the match. However, Barnett & Nicholls were taken to a tiebreak. The Brits edged the breaker and were into the next round in straight sets 6-3, 7-6(5).

The quarter-final saw the Brits against Akgul Amanmuradova & Marina Bassols Ribera. Barnett & Nicholls dominated the match from start to finish. The top seeds were barely troubled on serve as Amanmuradova & Bassols Ribera were unable to match the Brits game. Barnett & Nicholls moved into the semi-final in straight sets 6-2, 6-0.

In the semi-final the top seeds were against the fourth seeds Anastasia Dețiuc & Miriam Kolodziejová. The Czech pair could not prevent Barnett & Nicholls from breaking to take the first set. In the second set the top seeds dominated again and had soon booked a spot in the final 6-3, 6-2.

The final saw the top seeds against Victoria Jiménez Kasintseva & Renata Zarazúa. The Andorran/Mexican pair did what no one else had managed, broke the serve of Barnett & Nicholls to take the first set. The second set saw the top seeds re-group and dominate to level up the match. The ensuing match tiebreak saw Kasintseva & Zarazua edge out the Brits and claim the title 6-4, 2-6, 10-8.
