JABLONEC NAD NISOU, CZECH REPUBLIC – Stuart Parker entered the ITF event and was the eighth seed. The Brit made the quarter-final before defeat to the third seed.

Brit of the Week
Stuart Parker entered the ITF event and was the eighth seed. In the first round the Brit was against Wild Card entrant Daniel Siniakov. The Czech player was no match for the Brit who dominated the match from the outset. Parker dropped two games all match and moved into the second round 6-0, 6-2.
The second round saw Parker against Hynek Barton. The Czech player stayed toe to toe with Parker in the first set. Eventually, though, the seed managed to get the break and get the lead. The second set saw the Brit dominate Barton and move into the next round in straight sets 6-4, 6-2.
In the quarter-final the Brit was against third seed Lukas Neumayer. The Austrian got off to the better start, and soon had a break of serve and took the lead. The second set was more of the same, as Parker tried to fight back but Neumayer again broke serve to take the win 6-3, 6-3.
