Felix Gill entered the ITF event and was unseeded. In the first round, the Brit was against Japanese player Ryuki Matsuda. Gill had little trouble with his opponent and dominated from the outset. Gill wasted no time in breaking Matsuda and took the match for the loss of only three games, progressing to the next round in straight sets 6-1, 6-2.

In the second round, Gill was against fourth seed Goncalo Oliveira. The Brit again dominated from the start as the Portuguese struggled against the game of Gill. The unseeded player was in excellent form against the seeded player. Gill eased through into the next round for the loss of only four games 6-2, 6-2.

The quarter-final saw the Brit against seventh seed Salvatore Caruso. The Italian stayed with Gill at the start of the first set. Eventually, Gill broke serve and took the lead. Caruso was unable to get back into the set so Gill had the lead. The second set saw the Brit dominate, as the Italian again couldn’t get into the serve of the Brit. Gill moved into the semi-final in straight sets 6-3, 6-2.

In the semi-final Gill was against second seed Nerman Fatic. The Bosnian found the Brit too good in the first set, as Gill continued his dominant performance. Fatic, though, fought back in the second set and dominated Gill to level up the match. The final set saw Gill and Fatic stay close at the start. Eventually, Gill secured the break of serve and moved into the final 6-2, 2-6, 6-3.

The final saw the Brit against top seed Oriol Roca Batalla. The Spaniard struggled in the first set, as Gill dominated again to take the lead. The second set though, was closer. The Spaniard stayed with the Brit before Gill managed to get the break and lift the title in straight sets 6-2, 6-4.
