ANTALYA, TURKEY – Felix Gill entered the ITF event and was unseeded. The Brit made it all the way to the semi-final before being defeated.

Felix Gill entered the ITF event in Turkey and was un seeded. The Brit drew Bulgarian Simon Ivanov in the first round. Gill dominated the first set and the Brit broke more or less at will. Ivanov was unable to stay with Gill and soon was down a set. The second set went more or less the same way, with Gill dominating again. The Brit secured the win and moved into the next round 6-2, 6-2.

The second round saw Gill up against fourth seed Uladzimir Ignatik. The seed dominated the first set, as Gill struggled to work out the game of Ignatik. However, the Brit re-grouped in the second set. Staying toe to toe with the seed, the Brit managed to break serve and level up the match. Gill then dominated the final set and booked a spot in the quarter-final 1-6, 7-5, 6-1.

In the quarter-final the Brit was against the seventh seed Alexander Weis. The Italian found Gill a tough opponent, as the Brit fought through and broke serve to take the first set. The second set was also very close. Weis tried to get on top, but Gill was having non of it. The Brit broke again to secure a spot in the semi-final 6-4, 6-4.

The semi-final saw the Brit against the top seed Nerman Fatic. Gill stayed close to the top seed however, Fatic managed to break serve and take the lead. The second set was very similar, with Gill staying close to Fatic. Unfortunately, the top seed managed to break serve and move on to the final 6-3, 6-4.

 

Challenger & ITF Round Up

Billy Harris was defeated by Michel Hopp in the first round in Antalya 6-4, 7-6(3).

Paul Jubb was defeated by Jesper De Jong in the second round in Santiago 7-5, 6-3.

Jay Clarke was defeated by Ulises Blanch in the second round in Monterrey 7-6, 6-2.

Stuart Parker was defeated by Maximilian Neuchrist in the first round in Portimao 6-4, 6-2.

Anton Matusevich was defeated by Alexy Vatutin in the quarter-final in Portimao 6-4, 6-2.

Alexis Canter was defeated by Adil Kalyanpur in the first round in Bhopal 6-3, 6-3.

Julian Cash was defeated by Sidharth Rawat in the quarter-final in Bhopal 2-6, 6-4, 6-4.

Oliver Tarvet was defeated by Lucas Catarina in the first round in Monastir 6-1, 6-2.

Luc Koenig was defeated by Max Hans Rehberg in the first round in Monastir 6-4, 6-1.

Amarni Banks was defeated by Julia Terziyska in the second round in Monastir 6-4, 6-1.

Eliz Maloney was defeated by Manon Leonard in the second round in Monastir 7-6(7), 6-1.

Dean Cooper Kirby was defeated by Leo Borg in the first round in Sharm El Sheikh 6-2, 6-1.

Anna Brogan was defeated by Lee Eunhye in the first round in Sharm El Sheikh 6-4, 6-0.

Alice Gillan was defeated by Marila Tkacheva in the quarter-final in Sharm El Sheikh 6-2, 6-2.

Naiktha Bains was defeated by Jaimee Fourlis in the first round in Bendigo 6-2, 6-2.
