Emma Raducanu entered the ITF event in Landisville. The Brit had to come through qualifying to make the main draw. Raducanu drew the sixth seed Ysaline Bonaventure in the first round. The Belgian stayed toe to toe with the Brit in the first set and forced a tiebreak. Raducanu edged the breaker to take the lead. In the second set Raducanu dominated to break serve and move into the second round 7-6(4), 6-2.

In the second round the Brit was against Ekatrine Gorgodze. The Georgian got off to the better start, and broke the serve of Raducanu. The Brit was unable to break back and the Georgian took the lead. However, the Brit re-grouped in the second set, dominating Gorgodze. Raducanu didn’t lose a game in the set. The final set again saw the Brit dominate with the Georgian struggling on serve. The Brit moved into the quarter-final 3-6, 6-0, 6-1.

The quarter-final saw Raducanu against the third seed Nuria Parrizas-Dias. The Brit was 3-1 up in the set before the Spaniard managed to fight back. Unfortunately, with the Parrizas-Dias taking the lead, heat exhaustion got the better of the Brit and she had to retire from the match 3-4.
