LUAN, CHINA – Oliver Crawford entered the ITF event and was the sixth seed. The Brit defeated a former top 20 player in the final, recovering from a set down.

Oliver Crawford entered the ITF event and was the sixth seed. In the first round the Brit was against Wishaya Trongcharoenchaikul. The Thai stayed close to Crawford in the first set and looked to be forcing a tiebreak. However, Crawford broke serve just at the end and took the lead. The second set saw the Brit and the Thai fight hard, before the seed broke serve and moved into the next round 7-5, 6-4.
In the second round, the Brit was against wildcard player Lu Pengyu. The Chinese player got off to the better start and dominated the first set to take the lead. The second set saw Crawford re-group and break serve to level up the match. The final set saw the seed dominate and move on into the next round 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.
The quarter-final saw the seed against another wildcard Chinese player, this time Zhang Tianhui. The Brit had little trouble with the wildcard and soon dominated. Crawford hardly put a foot wrong as the seed eased through both sets and into the next round 6-2, 6-1.
In the semi-final the Brit was against Akira Santillan. The Australian stayed close with Crawford in the first set and looked to force a tiebreak. However, the seed managed to break at the end of the set and take the lead. The second set saw Santillan re-group and break early to level up the match. The final set saw Crawford dominate and move through into the final 7-5, 3-6, 6-2.
The final saw Crawford against former top twenty player Chung Hyeon. The Korean broke the seed serve in the first set and took the lead. The Brit re-grouped in the second set, breaking serve early to level up the match. In the final set Crawford dominated and lifted the title 4-6, 6-3, 6-2.
