MONASTIR, TUNISIA – Amelia Bissett had a wildcard into the ITF event and was unseeded. The Brit made the semi-final, before losing to the eventual winner.
Brit of the Week
Amelia Bissett entered the ITF event on the back of a wildcard. The Brit was against compatriot Charlotte Russell, who had come through qualifying. The first set was very close, as qualifiers tend to be tricky. Russell stayed with Bissett in the first set, pushing her close. Eventually, Bissett secured the vital break of serve and moved ahead. The second set was dominated by Bissett. Bissett moved into the next round in straight sets 7-5, 6-1.
The second round saw Bissett against Italian Lara Pfeifer. The Brit started well, breaking Pfeifer and taking the lead. The second set saw the Italian re-group and fight back. Pfeifer broke serve and levelled up the match. Bissett dominated the final set and moved into the next round 3-6, 6-4, 6-0.
In the quarter-final Bissett was against Spaniard Lucia Llinares Domingo. The first set was very close, with neither player giving an inch and this resulted in a tiebreak. In the breaker, the Spaniard eased through and took the lead. The second set saw Bissett re-group and break serve to level up the match. In the final set Bissett dominated Llinares Domingo and moved into the semi-final 6-7(3), 6-4, 6-2.
The semi-final saw the Brit against Italian qualifier Camilla Zanolini. The first set saw the Italian get off to the better start, and break the Brit to take the lead. In the second set Zanolini dominated Bissett and took the match in straight sets 6-3, 6-2.

Luc Koenig was defeated by Samir Hamza Reguig in the first round in Monastir 6-0, 3-6, 6-3.
Oliver Tarvet was defeated by Igor Kudriashov in the first round in Monastir 6-4, 0-6, 6-0.
Oscar Weightman was defeated by Patrick Brady in the first round in Ajaccio 7-6(6), 3-6, 7-6(4).
Dan Cox was defeated by Antoine Bellier in the first round in Ajaccio 6-1, 6-4.
Patrick Brady was defeated by Dan Added in the second round in Ajaccio 6-4, 6-1.
Anton Matusevich was defeated by Stefano Napolitano in the first round in Biella 6-2, 6-4.
Emilie Lindh was defeated by Claudia Hoste Ferrer in the first round in Gexto 6-1, 6-4.
Felix Gill was defeated by Inaki Montes-De La Torre in the quarter-final in Getxo 7-6(1), 6-0.
Holly Hutchinson was defeated by Kimberly Birrell in the first round in Cantanhede 7-6(7), 6-4.
Aryana Bartlett was defeated by Matilde Jorge in the first round in Cantanhede 6-2, 6-4.
Katy Dunne was defeated by Valentina Ryser in the second round in Cantanhede 6-4, 6-2.
Sarah Beth Grey was defeated by Katarzyna Kawa in the second round in Cantanhede 6-3, 6-2.
Amelia Rajecki was defeated by Kimberly Birrell in the second round in Cantanhede 6-2, 6-7(5), 6-1.
