Giron had an inconsistent 2023 season having achieved some big wins but ultimately didn’t provide the consistency over the year to see his ranking go in the right direction. Now the American will look to change that this year as he will look to grind out wins and aim for a place in the world’s top 50.
Draper will look to use a mix of depth and variety in order to keep the American guessing while also keeping his aggressive style of play from the baseline. Meanwhile Giron will look to win the war of attrition as he looks to extend the rallies and exhaust Draper with his relentless consistency on the backhand. This will be a tough test for Draper but as long as the Brit has enough energy left in the tank then he should win this match comfortably.
