Playing styles and prediction
Misolic has been in good form in recent weeks and once again qualified for an ATP event this week in Vienna. After beating Dan Evans last week, Misolic will be full of confidence heading into his home event in Austria as he looks to continue his rise up the rankings.
Norrie will look for consistent aggression on serve as he looks to set up effective winners on the backhand side as well as extracting unforced errors from Misolic. Meanwhile the Austrian will look to be aggressive on return and put Norrie’s forehand under pressure as he aims to test the Brit’s confidence. This will be a tough match for Norrie in a match the Brit simply has to win but with his recent form, it’s tough to predict a victory for Norrie especially against a confident opponent like Misolic.
Prediction: Misolic in three sets.
