Playing styles and prediction

In the two matches this season, Hurkacz has managed to keep a consistently high level and manage to produce his most aggressive tennis when it matters. As the race for the ATP Finals heats up a similar approach is expected from the Pole as he looks for a strong end to the season.

Murray will need to find aggressive tennis on serve and look to have an effective success rate on break point conversion. But the most important thing is that the three-time grand slam champion manages to produce bold tennis on the big points and limit Hurkacz’s ability to play the match on his terms. It will be a tough match for Murray but he will be hoping it will be third time lucky in his pursuit of getting revenge on the Pole.

Prediction: Hurkacz in three sets.
