Playing styles and prediction

De Minaur enters this week in relatively good form having reached the final in Los Cabos last week. The Australian has really improved his aggression on serve over the last few months and will know that should he continue this momentum then he has a good chance of a deep run at the US Open.

Norrie will look to be more aggressive on return and will aim to keep a high level of consistency using his forehand as the main focal point. Meanwhile De Minuar will be aggressive on serve and look to dictate play with the backhand as he looks to finish points off quickly at the net. This will be a tough match for Norrie and an opportunity for the Brit to prove that his recent demise is short-term and nothing to worry about heading into the US Open.

Prediction: De Minaur in three sets.
