Playing styles and prediction

Diallo has had a breakthrough season on the Challenger tour producing some consistent results and putting himself into the world’s top 150. Now the young Canadian looks to gain experience on the main tour as bigger things await his powerful baseline game in the future.

Evans will be looking to be aggressive on serve as he looks to test Diallo’s effective returning and will look to use his slice to force errors from Diallo. The young Canadian will look to be fearless and aggressive on serve as he has nothing to lose and everything to gain from an incredible experience in front of his home fans. Form and momentum suggests Evans should get the job done although it may not be easy as expected given Diallo’s motivation in front of a home crowd.

Prediction: Evans in three sets.
