Playing Styles and Prediction

After a strong US hard court season, De Minaur has produced disappointing results in Beijing and Shanghai as the Australian is starting to show signs of fatigue. Now as the season draws towards its conclusion, De Minaur looks to improve his form as he aims to close in on a place in the world’s top ten.

Draper will look to be aggressive on the forehand as he looks to force De Minaur into defensive positions therefore opening up space on the court to hit effective winners. Meanwhile De Minaur will look to build confidence on his serve as he looks to neutralise the powerful returning of the Brit. This will be a tough match for Draper but on current form the world number 88 enters this match as slight favourite as he looks for another landmark victory.

Prediction: Draper in three sets.
