Norrie will aim to be efficient on return as he will look to shorten the points against a player like Dellien who thrives on long and tactical points.

Playing styles and prediction

After ending the season with a string of deep runs at Challenger events, Dellien has failed to capitalize on that momentum in 2024. The Bolivian will be hoping that his best tennis is still to come as he looks to use the next few weeks to start to build momentum as the clay court season approaches.

Norrie will look for more confidence on his forehand as he aims to dictate play, neutralizing Dellien’s attacking patterns of play. Meanwhile the Bolivian will look to extend the rallies, testing Norrie’s patience from the baseline. This is a rematch from last year’s contest in Rio De Janeiro where Norrie struggled to a three set win. A similar outcome is expected as Dellien will have nothing to lose in this contest.

Prediction: Norrie in three sets.
