Playing styles and prediction

Dimitrov had a decent clay court season by his standards and returned to a masters 1000 semi-final in Monte-Carlo. The Bulgarian will now look to bounce back from his third round defeat to Diego Schwartzman with a strong performance on his favourite surface as he looks for a very strong grass court season.

Norrie will look to serve well and neutralise the rallies with his slice and variety while Dimitrov will look to play aggressive and lights out tennis. This should be a good opening test of the Brit’s grass court credentials and a match that both players will benefit from heading into Wimbledon.

Prediction: Norrie in three sets.
