Playing styles and prediction

De Minaur hasn’t had the best finishes to the season with Tokyo being the only tournament since the US Open where he was won back-to-back matches. Now the Australian will look to build momentum heading into the Davis Cup finals as he looks to end his impressive season on a positive note.

Murray will look to be aggressive on serve and consistent from the baseline as he looks to repeat the performance that saw him narrowly beaten by De Minaur in Beijing. Meanwhile De Minaur will look to produce a high level on serve as he aims to maintain his efficiency on return. Conditions are expected to be slightly slower in Paris than they were in Beijing which will favour De Minaur but if Murray can produce a high level on serve than he has every chance to finally gain a win over the Australian.

Prediction: De Minaur in three sets.
