Playing Styles and Prediction

Rinderknech is in good form heading into this week’s tournament with the Frenchman beating the likes of Marin Cilic, Pablo Carreno Busta and Diego Schwartzman in recent weeks. Rinderknech has a big serve and big groundstrokes which will be a testing challenge for any player on an indoor hard court.

This will be a battle between who can be more effective on their serve with Draper producing a great serving performance against Carlos Alcaraz in Basel. The Brit’s power from the baseline and ability to successfully construct points on return makes him slight favourite heading into this match but Rinderknech’s serve will be a big test for Draper especially in front of a hostile Parisian crowd.

Prediction: Draper in three sets.
