Cameron Norrie v Jordan Thompson [8] | H2H: Norrie leads 3-1

Despite maybe a slow start on the restart, British No. 3 Cameron Norrie will look to try and finish at a bit of a click. The highlight so far of his restart has been reaching the third round of the US Open, and the quarter-final in St Petersburg.

Despite his campaign at Antwerp ending in the second round, he put up a strong fight against Milos Raonic, and was just edged out of a competitive encounter.

He faces the No. 8 seed Jordan Thompson who also had a decent run at the US Open, but since then has struggled to find any form, with just one win from five matches, and he has just not seemed to find his feet in the latter half of the season on the indoor court circuit with two straight losses in the two Cologne tournaments.

Thompson has a good all court game and much like Norrie, does most things pretty well – constructs and finishes points well and has a gritty attitude out on the court.

While he has a higher ranking at the moment, Norrie has shown he can be dangerous as an underdog, and his record against the Aussie shows that he has been a good match for Thompson, but he will need to work for this win.

Prediction: Norrie in three sets.
