Playing Styles and Prediction

The Frenchman has been struggling for wins on the challenger tour, never mind the regular tour with Simon’s ranking now so low that he has mostly played qualifying matches this season. Now 37 years old, Simon is now approaching the time where he looks to finish career on a high.

Draper will look to be aggressive and take his game to Simon but the young Brit can’t be over aggressive otherwise he will create simple unforced errors which is what the Frenchman will be hoping for. This is an ideal first round clash for Draper and the Brit’s form should see him into the next round depending on whether he can control his emotions and mentality.

Prediction: Draper in three sets.
