Playing styles and prediction
Marterer has managed to qualify for a few ATP events but when it comes to main draws, the German has struggled for wins with his opening round win at Roland Garros being his only main draw win on the main tour. However the German is a threat on his day and will aim to take his big game and implement it successfully on grass.
Jubb will aim to get his big serve firing as he looks to test Marterer’s confidence from the baseline. Meanwhile Marterer will hope to use a mixture of power and variety in order to force errors from Jubb’s game. The grass court knowhow and form of Jubb sees the Brit as slight favourite but this match could be decided by fine margins in an important match ahead of Wimbledon.
