Looking at the stats, the key to this match is the serve with Norrie not necessarily having a better first serve percentage than his French opponent but he has won more service games on the clay as well as saving more break points.
The Frenchman hasn’t been able to back-up his good start to the season at the Australian Open having won five of his nine clay court matches so far this year. However wins over Dan Evans and Denis Shapovalov will have him believing he can still make progress on clay. Moutet has a good mix of defensive slice and aggressive attacking play, so Norrie will have to be careful not to full into the trap of being too cautious in that match.
That being said, Norrie is clearly in the better form and his ability to dig himself out of service games in comparison to Moutet gives him the advantage in this match with his better defensive play being enough to get him through this match.
Prediction: Norrie in straight sets
