Playing Styles and Prediction
Machac has had a breakthrough season in the big events but the Czech Republican is yet to win back-to-back matches in the clay court season. Now Machac will look to turn his fortunes around in Geneva as he aims to improve his clay court game ahead of Roland Garros.
Draper will aim to dictate play on the forehand as he aims to test Machac’s movement on the clay. Meanwhile Machac will look to be aggressive on serve and use variety to extract errors from the Brit. This will be a good early test for Draper but the eight seed should have too much quality in what is an important week for the Brit.
