Playing styles and prediction

Nakashima has had a disappointing season up until this point but has stepped up his game on the grass courts so far. The American gave Andy Murray a tough test in Surbiton and has beaten Sam Querrey and Steve Johnson to qualify for Eastbourne and will look to build on that form heading into Wimbledon.

Norrie will need to serve well and be consistently aggressive as he looks to dictate the play against a player like Nakashima who can turn defence into attack effectively. This should be a tough test for the top seed and an indicator of his confidence on grass heading into Wimbledon next week.

Prediction: Norrie in three sets.
