Playing styles and prediction

Ruusuvuori has a big game and a big serve but hasn’t always provided with consistent results as Ruusuvuori will look to change that in the future and climb into the world’s top 50. Now Ruusuvuori will look to kickstart his season in Doha on his favourite surface after a difficult start to the season.

Evans will look to maintain a high percentage of first serves as well as be aggressive on return as that is something that the Brit didn’t manage to do in Australia. Ruusuvuori will look to serve big and hit with little margin as he will look to put Evans under pressure from the start and test the Brit’s confidence. This will be a tough test for Evans but one he should prevail in even if it does go the distance.

Prediction: Evans in three sets.
