Broady has proven to be the more clinical player this season however Mannarino is better under pressure on his serve.
Playing styles and prediction
The Frenchman has had a good start to the season with wins over Hubert Hurkacz and Aslan Karatsev at the Australian Open as well as testing eventual champion Rafael Nadal. Mannarino plays a unique style with disguised power mixing with insane slices and dropshots with this combination making it difficult for any opponent.
Broady will need to be aggressive and show good rally tolerance in the big moments. The Brit will also need to take his opportunities when they come with Mannarino’s experience ensuring he plays the big points well. Whatever the result a positive performance will give Broady a platform to build on for the rest of the year.
