H2H: Cameron Norrie (WR 12) Jiri Lehecka (WR 78)
Tournament Previous Best Final (2019) N/A
1st Serve % 66.1 64.1
Service Games Won % 81.4 77.2
Break Points Saved % 62.4 61.9
2nd Serve Return Points Won % 53 48
Break Points Converted % 44.1 42.2

Lehecka’s returning efficiency makes this a dangerous match for Norrie but the Brit will be confident in his serving ability especially on big points.

Playing styles and prediction

Lehecka had a great 2022 season with the 21 year-old rising 63 places up the world rankings. The Czech Republican will look to break into the world’s top 50 in 2023 and made a positive start to that goal with a win over Alexander Zverev at the United Cup.

Norrie will look to use his anticipation skills to make good returns and cause Lehecka problems with his depth and change of pace. Lehecka will look to be aggressive as early as possible and dictate play from the baseline. Depending on the weather, this match could be indoors which may favour Lehecka slightly, either way this should be a good test for Norrie heading into the first Grand Slam of the year.

Prediction: Norrie in three sets.
