Playing Styles and Prediction

Brooksby has had another great season this year, going deep in tournaments on home soil and proving that his awkward game style can cause players problems. The American has a good all round game mixed with athletic movement from the baseline that will look to cause Draper more problems than he was able to in Eastbourne.

The Brit will need to produce a consistent high level with the serve going to be a key battleground in this match. This match will test Draper’s physicality and with there being some rust since being injured, Brooksby may enter this match as slight favourite. It will be a tight tussle as Draper looks to build some momentum towards the Australian Open next year.

Prediction: Brooksby in three sets.
