Playing Styles and Prediction

Paul has produced good form since the Australian Open with the American winning the title in Dallas and reaching the final in Delray Beach. Now Paul will look to go one round further than last year and claim the Acapulco title.

Draper will look to be aggressive from the baseline and come to the net as much as possible in order to shorten the points. Meanwhile Paul will look to extend the rallies as he aims to grind down Draper’s game and extract errors from the Brit. This should be a tight contest with both players knowing each other’s game by now. The American enters this match as slight favourite but if Draper can produce his best tennis than anything is possible in this match.

Prediction: Paul in three sets.
