Maui, America- Kyle Edmund has eased his way to the Semi Final of the challenger event in Hawaii without dropping a set.

In the first round Edmund drew Alexander Sarkissian. The Brit got the start he needed with the American unable to make any in roads on the top seed’s serve. Edmund faced no break points in the set, and took the vital one to seal the it 6-4. The second set saw the American playing better, creating a break point on the top seed’s serve, however the Brit snuffed this out. Sarkissian failed to create any more opportunities as the Brit took the set easily 6-2.

The second round saw the British number three play American qualifier Michael Mmoh. Mmoh had defeated a wildcard in the first round, and the American came into the match full of confidence. The top seed soon put an end to that however. This match was all one way traffic as the American only won a single game, and that was by breaking Edmund once. The Brit won by a breadstick and a second set bagel and eased to the quarter final.

The American could not make any in roads into the Brit’s serve in the first set, whilst the Brit broke Meister twice to seal the set 6-2. The second set again saw Meister unable to create any break points, with the Brit creating eight opportunities to break the American. the top seed converted two of the opportunities to seal the win 6-3 and book his place in the semi final against the third seed James Duckworth.
