  • No. 9 seed Maria Sakkari came back from a set down to beat top seed Sofia Kenin, winning the final 10 games on the bounce to book her spot in the semi-final.
  • There is no stopping Aryna Sabalenka’s winning run making it lucky 13 as she was taken the distance by Elena Rybakina.
  • Marta Kostyuk rallied after losing the first set without a game on the board to beat Spain’s Sara Sorribes Tormo, and Veronika Kudermetova upset the No. 2 seed Elina Svitolina in a taut three setter.
