Tournament Results & Quick Hits – WTA Doha
- With Simona Halep’s withdrawal from the semi-finals after more problems with her foot, Garbiñe Muguruza benefited from a day off with a walkover straight into the final.
- Meanwhile Petra Kvitova extended her lead in the head to head over Caroline Wozniacki with a thrilling comeback. Looking fatigued and out of sorts in the opening set, she rallied to push the World No. 1 to the limit in a feisty match with plenty of arguments with umpires along the way!
- This is Kvitova’s best run in Doha and she extended her current match winning streak to 12.

- Federer owns their head to head, but Dimitrov holds Rotterdam dear – he won his first career ATP match here in 2009 so a No. 1 scalp and a title would be great on thus far his best run in Rotterdam.
