  • Alexander Zverev ended Aljaz Bedene’s challenge but was tested by the Brit and taken to a decider.
  • Defending champion Richard Gasquet booked his place fairly comfortably into the quarter-finals, but compatriot Jo-Wilfried Tsonga looked far more emphatic with his dispatch of fellow countryman Pierre-Hugues Herbert in just 44 minutes!
  • Five Frenchman are in the quarter-final field, with Dustin Brown, Daniil Medvedev and Alexander Zverev looking to make their mark.

Fed Cup

  • Great Britain went clear at the top of the table in Pool C with another clean sweep over Latvia.
  • Heather Watson kicked things off once more with another straight sets win over Diana Marcinkevica
  • In an encounter that could have been quite tricky, Johanna Konta eased past Jelena Ostapenko
  • The doubles combination of Jocelyn Rae & Laura Robson started very strongly with a bagel first set before a tie-break in the second set, before roaring through the decider to make it 6-0 so far for the Brits.
  • Next up will be Turkey.
