On Monday night given the form United were in, not many would have expected them to take all three points at home to Liverpool. However, that is what they did thanks to goals from Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford.

Eric ten Hag picked his side up from their humiliating defeat against Brentford but questions still loom over the future of Cristiano Ronaldo and now his captain Harry Maguire who was also dropped for the Liverpool game.

Southampton got their first win last weekend with a 2-1 victory over Leicester City as Che Adams scored twice so it will be a tough fixture on the South Coast.

Score prediction: Southampton 1-2 Manchester United

Liverpool vs Bournemouth, Saturday 27 August, kick-off 15:00

After losing at Old Trafford, Liverpool are still yet to win a game this season so are in desperate need of a result as they take on Bournemouth this weekend.

Jurgen Klopp‘s side will still be without Darwin Nunez as the Uruguayan is still serving his suspension. So they will be looking at Mohammed Salah who has already scored twice this season to make up for Nunez’s absence.

Since beating Aston Villa on the opening day of the season Bournemouth has suffered two heavy defeats against Manchester City and Arsenal. It will not be easy for Scott Parker‘s side as they face a wounded but still very strong Liverpool side.

Score prediction: Liverpool 2-0 Bournemouth

Arsenal vs Fulham, Saturday 27 August, kick-off 17:30

Arsenal is the only side with a perfect record, Mikel Arteta‘s side sits at the top of the table with nine points from three victories.

Gabriel Jesus, Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli have all scored twice this season and will be expecting more goals as they take on recently promoted Fulham.

However, Fulham has not had a bad start to the season as they held Liverpool to a 2-2 draw on the opening day of the season. This followed a 0-0 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers and last time out they beat Brentford in a West London derby.

So it will not be easy for the Gunners but with the form they are in, they should get the job done.

Score prediction: Arsenal 2-0 Fulham

Manchester City vs Crystal Palace, Saturday 27 August, kick-off 15:00

Manchester City drew 3-3 with Newcastle last weekend which puts them second in the league only to Arsenal. Pep Guardiola‘s side will be pleased that Liverpool is still yet to win but will be looking to get back to winning ways themselves as they take on Crystal Palace.

Erling Haaland has already scored three times this season and City showed great character against the Magpies to come back from 3-1 down.

Crystal Palace although they lost to Arsenal on the opening day of the season, managed a draw with Liverpool and beat Aston Villa 3-1 last time out.

Wilfred Zaha like Haaland also has three goals so far, so it will be an intriguing encounter at the Etihad on Saturday.

Score Prediction: Manchester City 3-2 Crystal Palace
