Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Arsenal, Saturday November 12, kick-off 19:45

Not many would have been brave enough to predict Arsenal as being the league leader going into the mid-season break for the World Cup. However, the Gunners have the chance to do just that if they beat Wolves on Saturday.

Mikel Arteta‘s side is unbeaten in their last seven Premier League matches. Their 1-0 victory over Chelsea at the weekend showed how they can grind out victorious which is crucial in a title challenge. Bukayo Saka played the full 90 minutes of the match against the Blues which is a big boost for his club and England. Saka had limped off injured in their game prior against Nottingham Forest.

Wolves have not won in their last four games. They conceded late last weekend in their 3-2 defeat to Brighton. However, they have received a boost in the appointment of former Real Madrid and Spain boss Julen Lopetegui. He will take charge after the World Cup whilst this weekend will see caretaker manager Steve Davis take charge for the final time.

Rúben Neves is the man on form for Wolves. The Portuguese midfielder has scored two goals in his last two league games. He could exploit the Gunners who lost 3-1 to Brighton in the EFL Cup on Wednesday. Wolves did win in the cup this week with a 1-0 victory over Leeds thanks to a goal from Boubacar Traore.

Score prediction: Wolves 0-2 Arsenal

Newcastle vs Chelsea, Saturday November 12, kick-off 17:30

Newcastle is a team in tremendous goalscoring form, they are unbeaten in their last nine matches and have scored four in their last two games. The Magpies are in an impressive third place in the league and Miguel Almiron is fast becoming everyone’s favourite player as he now has eight league goals this season.

The same cannot be said for Chelsea at the moment with Graham Potter‘s side losing to Brighton 4-1 and Arsenal 1-0 in their last two games. Chelsea managers are never far away from getting the sack and despite Potter not long being in the job, questions are already being asked as to whether he is the right man.

With the Blues currently in seventh place, they need to start winning games if they are going to have Champions League football next season.

Chelsea also suffered a defeat in the League Cup this week as they fell to a 2-0 defeat to Manchester City. Newcastle defeated Crystal Palace 3-2 on penalties after a goalless 90 minutes. Nick Pope saved three penalties in the shootout and has been included in the England squad for the World Cup.

Score prediction: Newcastle 3-1 Chelsea

Tottenham vs Leeds United, Saturday November 12, kick-off 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur still remains fourth in the table after they suffered a defeat to Liverpool in their last match. Antonio Conte‘s side has lost their last two games after a loss in the EFL Cup to Nottingham Forest in midweek.

Spurs come up against a Leeds United side who since losing to Fulham have beaten Liverpool 2-1 and won 4-3 in a thriller against Bournemouth last weekend. Crysencio Summerville has scored a late winner in both games, showing he is the man for the big moments.

Jesse Marsch‘s side is now 12th in the table which just shows what back-to-back wins can do for a side. However, in the League Cup during the week Leeds also lost, falling to a 1-0 defeat to Wolves.

Harry Kane and Eric Dier have both been named in Gareth Southgate‘s side for Qatar but no Leeds players have been selected.

Score prediction: Tottenham 1-2 Leeds United
