PREMIER LEAGUE – As Fantasy Premier League swings back into action this weekend, which bargain players can boost your points tally in Gameweek 12?

Josh King, Watford (5.6)

To kick off Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 12’s selections, Watford are once more back on the radar for budget striker options, with Josh King getting the nod.

Coming off back-to-back 1-0 defeats to Southampton and Arsenal, Claudio Ranieri‘s men return home to face Manchester United, who themselves suffered defeat last time out losing the Manchester derby a fortnight ago.

Since the Italian took the reins at Vicarage Road, the goals against count has dropped markedly, but the Hornets have not scored in 180 minutes of gametime, that, after a first outing that saw a sensational 5-2 comeback win at Everton.

Spurning a hatful of chances at the Emirates in GW11, King showed his threat in attack, and as the Red Devils roll into Hertfordshire this weekend, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s men have conceded twice in five of their last six games, the Norwegian is likely to be afforded more openings.

With just three goals this term – all coming in the aforementioned trip to his former Toffee employers – King though, grabbed three assists across GW5 and GW6 also.

Set to lead the line to face United, King is owned by less than 4% of FPL managers, but despite that, the forward might just be one to look at this weekend.

Maxwel Cornet, Burnley (6.0)

In midfield meanwhile, Maxwel Cornet gets another chance to shine as Burnley host Crystal Palace.

Having scored four times in six since his Clarets debut in GW5, the Ivorian has been a much-needed revelation for Sean Dyche since his late switch from Lyon in the summer.

Joining up with Chris Wood in attack, the winger has given Burnley an added impetus, with Cornet’s pace and direct play having caused havoc versus Norwich and Brentford, notching three goals and five bonus points in those two league games.

Rather starved of possession versus Chelsea a fortnight ago, Cornet looks set to menace Crystal Palace’s back line in GW12, with the Eagles having conceded 10 times in the last four Premier League games on the road.

A round 6.0 price-tag, the Clarets’ newest asset again looks value this weekend.

Andrew Omobamidele, Norwich (3.9)

To complete GW12’s line-up, Norwich City might attract a run of late interest ahead of the weekend’s deadline and as Dean Smith takes charge of the Canaries for the first time, could Andrew Omobamidele be an unlikely FPL star?

With Grant Hanley absent through injury, Norwich’s 19-year-old Irish sensation has stood in for his Scottish teammate, now a regular fixture for the Norfolk outfit.

An unlikely opening goalscorer against Leeds in GW10, Omobamidele’s double-figure haul has seen his ownership climb significantly since then, largely owing to his fee of less than 4.0.

Whilst Norwich still continue to leak goals, the installation of Smith should see an improvement against Southampton, but with the added nous the former Aston Villa boss should bring to set-pieces also.

It is here where the physical and dominant presence of Omobamidele, could come into his own and at a potential pittance.

Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 12 deadline is Saturday, 11:30 AM.
