Tammy Abraham
After taking a week off from finding the net against Liverpool last weekend, Tammy Abraham is set to continue his goal-scoring habits against Brighton & Hove Albion and the Chelsea man is one of our main picks.
Whilst failing to score against the dominant Premier League leaders, Abraham still found pockets of space to operate in and looked at home in his newly-acquired position, as one of the English top flight’s most in-form marksmen.
Scoring seven in three league games before Gameweek 6, this weekend presents greater opportunity to increase his Golden Boot credentials for Frank Lampard’s side, as the Seagulls make the trip from the South coast.
Brighton have had a decent start and put together some surprising form under new boss Graham Potter thus far – including six points on the road this season so far – but nevertheless shipped four against Manchester City earlier this season, and after the Blues put seven past Grimsby in midweek, the hosts and Abraham will fancy their chances of a fruitful Saturday afternoon.
Mohamed Salah
Time for Liverpool’s Egyptian king to shine again. Having been off Britwatch’s radar for the past few weeks – correctly predicted – Mohamed Salah beeps onto the cross-hairs for Gameweek 7, as Sheffield United look to tame last season’s joint winner of the Golden Boot.
With just one goal in his last three, Salah has trodden a slightly frustrated figure and against the Blades may have to be patient to strike in Yorkshire this weekend.
Chris Wilder’s men have been well organised on their Premier League return, and after capitalising on Everton’s defensive frailties, his side will look to complete the Merseyside double here. That however will take some doing.
Bramall Lane could see a tighter than anticipated contest, and that is where Salah comes in. It could need some late majesty for Liverpool to maintain their 100% winning streak after seven games, but we are backing Salah to supply the goods.
Kevin De Bruyne
As City responded to their defeat to Norwich City in ruthless manner, the Citizens returned to their terrifying best to notch the fastest 5-0 league in Premier League history. The man at the heart of most of their efforts last week was Kevin De Bruyne, and whilst in truth picking City’s starting XI is something of a lottery, the Belgian curries our favour this time around.
De Bruyne looks to back to his best form after a frustrating injury-ravaged campaign last season. Having two goals and seven assists to his name already, Pep Guardiola has his main man ticking to perfection again.
With City making the trip to Goodison Park to face a troubled Everton side, the Belgian may inflict more misery on the Glawdys Street faithful and despite the Toffees holding a decent record against their opponents in recent years, the host defence has more holes in it than a collander. If Marco Silva isn’t under pressure already, De Bruyne could thrust the Portuguese steward straight into the frying pan in Gameweek 7

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
The Arsenal hot-shot is becoming a regular in our must-have picks and as the Gunners clash with Manchester United on Monday night, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is in line to score in a fourth consecutive Premier League game.
Despite growing chaos around him in the Gunners defence, the Gabonese striker remains the pinnacle of composure and his free-kick goal against Aston Villa earnt an unlikely three points for Arsenal’s ten men, as Aubameyang cemented his status as a fan favourite in North London.
The chance to attack the Red Devils’ back line then, is surely one the Arsenal number 14 will not spurn. In a game that could realistically end in any scoreline ranging from 0-0 to 3-3 – likely nearer the latter – Aubameyang will likely get his fair share of openings and given his current form is must-have this weekend.
Caglar Soyuncu
With such a bevvy of high-values, the need for frugal activity is needed in the Fantasy Premier League transfer market and for Gameweek 7 Caglar Soyuncu is our man.
Having been recruited by Leicester City before the arrival of Brendan Rodgers, the Turkish defender has stepped into the departed Harry Maguire’s shoes with aplomb and played a big part in the Foxes victory over Spurs last weekend.
With a price-tag of just 4.6 and from a points point of view, Newcastle United are this weekend’s visitors to the King Power Stadium with a chance of a clean sheet on the cards for the home side on Sunday afternoon.
Soyuncu is also a growing threat from set-pieces with the aerial delivery of both Ben Chilwell and James Maddison, and having already opened his account for the East Midlanders last season, Soyuncu could be a source of points at both ends of the field against the Magpies.
Premier League Gameweek 7 begins on Saturday lunchtime, as Sheffield United host Liverpool, kick-off 12:30pm UK time.
