LONDON, UK – Be a part of history being made, and have your name on the tracksuits that the Aegon GB Davis Cup team will wear as they bid to win the Davis Cup for the first time in 79 years.
Tennis:
From today the Law Tennis Association will be launching the ‘Write Your Name Into History’ campaign – fans are being asked to have their names form a bespoke tracksuit that will be worn by the Aegon GB Davis Cup Final Team during the Final closing ceremony on Sunday 29 November.
It has been a long journey which will end this month, when Great Britain face Belgium, having conquered USA, France and Australia along the way.
Aegon GB Davis Cup Team Captain Leon Smith said: “Our journey to the Davis Cup Final has been one we couldn’t have done without the incredible support of our fans. The ‘Write Your Name Into History’ campaign is our way of recognising and thanking each and every one of them for being there with us every step of the way. The whole team will feel immensely proud when they put their team tracksuits on and it will make it even more special to see the names of those who have supported us.”
The Davis Cup by BNP Paribas is the World Cup of Tennis and is the largest annual international team competition in sport, with 126 nations competing in 2015. British fans have enthusiastically followed Smith’s team from their first match in the Europe/Africa Group II tie in Eastbourne, and in many cases well before that.

You have until 11:59pm on Tuesday 24 November – Space is limited on the tracksuit, so get posting! Winners will be picked at random and their names will appear on the team tracksuit.
