Alex Bogdanovic successfully made it through to round two of the Tallahassee Tennis Challenger in Florida today.
The British number four beat American wildcard entrant Austin Krajicek on the green-clay courts 7-5, 6-1, in an hour and 34 minutes without dropping serve.
Krajicek is at a career high 300 in the rankings, 21 below Bogdanovic, after reaching three Futures finals this season, winning two.
Serbian-born Bogdanovic will expect to play second seed Ryan Harrison in round two, unless the American suffers a surprise lose to Japan’s Taro Daniel.
